Our Policies
CONFIDENTIALITY is our highest
priority. Each member of our team pledges complete discretion.
We "come in with no judgment and leave with no information."
INTEGRITY is an equally high
priority. Each Organizer is considered in terms of her demeanor,
character and values, as best as we can determine. After
all, they will be in your home or office, and managing your
belongings. We take this charge seriously, and hire with
great care. We also make it a practice to "hire slow,
fire fast." We welcome your feedback on the quality
of our staff.
INSURANCE. We maintain an
insurance policy providing $4 million of Comprehensive General
Liability coverage.
NO GIFTS. We have a policy
of accepting no gifts. Should clients be discarding items
that are no longer wanted, our Organizers may not take
anything, even if offered. This avoids any misunderstandings
at a later date. Tips are acceptable, although neither expected
nor standard in our profession.
PAYMENT. We
make every attempt to keep costs down for our clients, while
still needing to show a profit. Therefore, we ask for payment
by check or cash at the end of each job, or the end of each
week if the job is ongoing. Of course we make exceptions
within reason! And we do accept MasterCard or Visa upon request.
Again, our priority is keeping our costs down, which translates
to savings for all of us.
CANCELLATIONS. If you must
cancel, please recognize that it costs us a day's revenue,
and so do it early. In turn, we ask for your understanding
if we have to cancel due to weather, unexpected school cancellation
or illness.
